The less pricey is a matching shoulder strap with d-rings for about $27. More expensive is a case cover that allows you to wear the case like a backpack, $103. Further advantage to case cover is it protects case from dirt and abrasions.Scottnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3358094970980665549.post-23489333990040843132011-04-01T04:03:56.097-05:002011-04-01T04:03:56.097-05:00This is what made me decide to buy the Ameritage. ...This is what made me decide to buy the Ameritage. I'm very pleased. I have never seen an instrument case as sturdy as this one. I would trust it to be gate-checked if the flight crew absolutely wouldn't let in on the plane. I would still put up an argument first however.Scottnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3358094970980665549.post-6474621483191938362008-04-15T00:49:00.000-05:002008-04-15T00:49:00.000-05:00The Ameritage case is something else. Dennis Lake worked with Ameritage on the custom measurements.. only disadvantage I can see is the price.. Thanks for the case reviews, very helpful. These are really quite heavy (maybe the soprano case isn't too bad) so some sort of strap is probably a good idea for airport hauls with these.

If you ever go for one, perhaps you can call Finecases about a strap option to see if they are available.GX9901https://www.blogger.com/profile/09149697275386260311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3358094970980665549.post-22666114774784128152008-03-25T19:20:00.000-05:002008-03-25T19:20:00.000-05:00I really like the color/trim you chose for your tw...I really like the color/trim you chose for your two Ameritage cases--they look just right with their respective instruments.

Now I have a new case to add to my wish list.

Did Ameritage offer an option for a clip of some sort to hold a luggage-type strap? Hubby put one on my inexpensive Gator case and it has made the airport hauls much more convenient (now my "carrying" hand is free). Of course, it doesn't look as nifty as it would need to look if it were on an Ameritage case....
http://ukuleletonya.com/blog/?s=strapTonyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17094134063894595419noreply@blogger.com
